Incident

ASSIST CALL – December 7th at 445 W. Second Avenue for an assist to Lititz Fire Co. on an apartment building, contained to stove in apartment 6. 1 engine, duty vehicle, 8 fire personnel responded, traveled 6 miles and we were in service 12 minutes.

STANDBY/TRANSFER – December 8th at 6076 Pine Street for a transfer Eng. 24-2 to Station 23 for standby while they were on another call. 1 engine, 5 fire personnel responded, traveled 17 miles and we were in service 1 hour and 20 minutes.

ASSIST CALL – December 8th at 1027 Fruitville Pike for an assist to Manheim Township Fire Dept. (E207) on a dwelling fire.  1 engine, 5 fire personnel responded, traveled 9 miles and we were in service 23 minutes.

DWELLING FIRE – December 10th at 2057 Main Street for the stove is on fire.  Chief held response to engine 24-2 all others were available. 2 engines, duty vehicle, ambulance 24-1, 18 fire personnel responded, traveled .5 miles and we were in service 19 minutes.  Assisting were the following fire companies:  Brunnerville engine, West Earl engine, Lititz truck.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT – December 11th at E. Newport Road and Braderic View Drive for a vehicle on its roof and in the middle of the roadway.  Driver was out of the vehicle and PPL pole sheared off 41279/S30510.  1 engine, squad, duty vehicle, ambulance, 11 fire personnel responded, traveled 3 miles and we were in service 52 minutes.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT – December 13th at 28 Erbs Bridge Road for a vehicle crashed in the bridge with blocking, no entrapment but driver injured.  1 engine, squad, duty vehicle, ambulance, 15 fire personnel responded, traveled 4 miles and we were in service 43 minutes.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT W/ENTRAPMENT – December 22nd at 520 Stauffer Road with 1 vehicle over turned and 3 patients.  Extrication complete at 18:20.  2 engines, squad 24, duty vehicle, 2 ambulances 24-1 & 24-2, 19 fire personnel responded,  traveled 6.5 miles and we were in service 1 hour and 13 minutes.  Assisting was Lititz Rescue 25.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT – December 28th at Owl Hill and E. Millport Roads for a vehicle accident with blocking and injury.  1 engine, squad, duty vehicle, ambulance, chief vehicle, 21 fire personnel responded, traveled 4 miles and we were in service 33 minutes.

The Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to 8 incidents for the months of December.  Responding to these calls were 114 fire personnel, traveled 50 miles, and we were in service 5 hours and 50 minutes.

The Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance responded to 83 calls, 154 personnel responding to the calls, traveled 1,257 miles and we were in service 63.8 hours.

Total calls for the Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company was 91 for the month of December.
