ASSIST CALL – July 3rd at 560 Furnace Hills Pike for an assist to Lititz Fire Co. on a commercial building fire and we were recalled upon arrival.  1 engine, 12 firefighters, 1 fire police, 1 junior firefighter responded, traveled 8 miles and we were in service 18 minutes.

ASSIST CALL – July 3rd at 224 Swarthmore Drive an assist to Lititz Fire Co. on a dwelling fire and we were recalled while responding.  1 engine, duty vehicle, 13 firefighters, 1 junior firefighter responded, traveled 4 miles and we were in service 7 minutes.

STANDBY/TRANSFER – July 3rd at 24 W. Main Street for a standby at Lititz Fire Station during the annual July 4th Celebration.  1 engine, 4 firefighters, 1 Jr. firefighter responded, traveled 6 miles and we were in service 4 hours and 8 minutes.

AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM – July 12th at 500 Owl Hill Road for an automatic fire alarm due to a small amount of smoke in kitchen area.  1 engine,  8 firefighters, 1 fire police, 2 Jr. firefighters responded, traveled 6 miles and we were in service 10 minutes. 

VEHICLE ACCIDENT – July 14th at 1463 E. Newport Road for a vehicle struck a PPL pole and pole was hanging down by wires with no arching or sparking, no eta for PPL.  1   engine, squad, duty vehicle, 9 firefighters, 2 fire police responded, traveled 4 miles and we were in service 55 minutes.  Assisting on this call was NLCR Police Dept. and PPL.

COVER ASSIGNMENT – July 15th at 200 E. Oregon Road for a standby at Neffsville Fire Station during a dwelling fire.  1 engine, 6 firefighters responded, traveled 12 miles and we were in service 1 hours and 16 minutes.

MEDICAL ASSIST – July 15th at 34 Waverly Avenue for an assist to Medic 82-1 with a medical call covering for QRS 207.  1 engine, 4 firefighters responded, traveled 2 miles and we were in service 47 minutes.

ASSIST CALL – July 17th at E. Woods Drive and Owl Hill Road for an assist to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Dept. on a search for person in a vehicle accident.  Squad, duty vehicle, 9 firefighters, 1 fire police, 1 junior firefighter responded, traveled 6 miles and we were in service 1 hour and 25 minutes.

DWELLING FIRE – July 24th at 705 E. Millport Road for a dwelling fire that involved a dehumidifier in the basement, owner taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.  2 engines, squad, ambulance, duty vehicle, 12 firefighters, 1 fire police, 2 Jr. firefighters, 2 ambulance personnel responded, traveled 4 miles and we were in service 1 hour 27 minutes.  Assisting on this call was NLCR Police Dept., Lititz Fire Co. truck 25, Brunnerville Fire Co. tanker 22 and East Petersburg Fire Co. rescue 23.

MULCH FIRE – July 28th at 550 Stauffer Road for a mulch pile that was on fire at the Warwick Township yard waste facility.   2 engines, 8 firefighters, 1 Jr. firefighter responded, traveled 6.5 miles and we were in service 48 minutes.

MULCH FIRE – July 29th at 550 Stauffer Road for a mulch pile that was on fire at the Warwick Township yard waste facility.   2 engines, 14 firefighters, 2 Jr. firefighters responded, traveled 6.5 miles and we were in service 34 minutes.

MULCH FIRE – July 30th at 550 Stauffer Road for a mulch pile that was on fire at the Warwick Township yard waste facility.   1 engine, 9 firefighters, 2 Jr. firefighters, 1 fire police responded, traveled 6.5 miles and we were in service 38 minutes.

The Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to 12 incidents for the month of July.  Responding to those calls were 108 firefighters, 7 fire police, 13 junior firefighters, 2 ambulance personnel, traveled 71.5 miles, and we were in service 12 hours and 33 minutes.

The Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance responded to 65 calls, 145 personnel responding to the calls, traveled 1,167 miles and we were in service 63 hours.

Total calls for the Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company was 77 for the month of July.
