Incident

ASSIST CALL – July 4th at 409 S. Cedar Street for an assist to Lititz Fire Co. on an outbuilding fire and we were recalled while in station. No engine response, 10 firefighters, no fire police, no junior firefighters responded, traveled no miles and we were in service 7 minutes.

STANDBY – July 4th at 22 N. Broad Street for a standby at Lititz Springs Park during the annual July 4th Celebration. 1 engine, 4 firefighters responded, traveled 8 miles and we were in service 4 hours and 33 minutes.

AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM – July 13th at 2077 Main Street for an automatic fire alarm due to cleaning the rear office and dust set off the alarm. Duty vehicle, 10 firefighters, 2 junior firefighters responded, traveled .3 miles and we were in service 4 minutes.

ASSIST CALL – July 23rd at 20 W. Orange Street for an assist to Lititz Fire Co. on a dwelling fire but we were recalled while ;responding. 1 engine, duty vehicle, 12 firefighters, 1 fire police, 3 junior firefighters responded, traveled 2 miles and we were in service 7 minutes.

COVER ASSIGNMENT – July 27th at 6076 Pine Street for a standby at East Petersburg Fire Station while they were assisting at a dwelling fire.  1 engine, 3 firefighters, 2 junior firefighters responded, traveled 20 miles and we were in service 1 hours and 19 minutes.

ASSIST CALL – July 27th at 343 N. Oak Street for an assist to Lititz Fire Co. on an apartment building fire but we were recalled while in station. No engine response, 8 firefighters, 1 fire police, 1 junior firefighter responded, traveled no miles and we were in service 5 minutes.

ASSIST CALL – July 31st at 15 Snyder Hill Road for an assist to Brunnerville Fire Co. on a dwelling fire but we were recalled while responding.  1 engine, duty vehicle, 9 firefighters, 2 junior firefighters responded, traveled 6 miles and we were in service 10 minutes.

The Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to 7 incidents for the month of July. Responding to those calls were 57 firefighters, 2 fire police, 10 junior firefighters, no ambulance personnel, traveled 36.3 miles, and we were in service 6 hours and 25 minutes.

The Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance responded to 71 calls, 153 personnel responding to the calls, traveled 1,003 miles and we were in service 50.5 hours.

Total calls for the Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company was 78 for the month of July.
