TRASH FIRE – September 5th at 550 Stauffer Road for a mulch pile on fire at Warwick Township woody site. 2 engines, duty vehicle, 15 personnel responded, traveled 8 miles and we were in service 1 hour and 48 minutes. Assisted by Brunnerville Fire Co. tanker 22 and Commissioner Ober.
STANDBY/TRANSFER – September 25th at 135 S. State Street for a standby for Ephrata Pioneer Fire Co. while they had an apartment building fire. 1 engine, 10 fire personnel responded, traveled 8.5 miles and we were in service 1 hour and 37 minutes.
ASSIST VEHICLE ACCIDENT W/ENTRAPMENT– September 26th at Clay and E. Newport Roads an assist to Brunnerville Fire Co. on a vehicle accident involving a horse and buggy with entrapment and injuries, we were recalled not needed. 1 engine, 2 ambulance, 13 fire personnel responded, traveled 3 miles and we were in service 7 minutes.
ASSIST POLICE DEPARTMENT– September 29th at 340 W. Meadow Valley Road for an assist to Ephrata Police Dept. and other governmental agencies. 1 engine, duty vehicle. 7 fire personnel responded, traveled 4.6 miles and we were in service 4 hours and 9 minutes.
