Incident

STANDBY/TRANSFER– April 5th at 10 Hopeland Road for a standby at Brickerville Fire Station while they were on a dwelling fire.  1 engine, 9 fire personnel responded, traveled 16.5 miles and we were in service 2 hour and 06 minutes.

INVESTIGATION-OUTSIDE – April 5th at 117 Meadow Lane for a smell of propane behind the mobile home, 2 tanks.  2 engines, duty vehicle, 11 fire personnel responded, traveled 1 mile and we were in service 21 minutes.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT – April 8th at 1219 E. Newport Road for a vehicle accident with a vehicle overturned and 1 person with a hand laceration.  1 engine, squad, ambulance, duty vehicle, 16 fire personnel responded, traveled 2 miles and we were in service 1 hour and 13 minutes. 

ASSIST CALL– April 10th at 57 St. John Circle for an assist to Lititz Fire Co. on a dwelling fire but we were recalled while responding.  1 engine, 9 fire personnel responded, traveled 3 miles and we were in service 7 minutes.

ASSIST CALL– April 11th at 1002 Log Cabin Road for an assist to Amb. 37-8 for force entry but we were recalled while still in station.  Squad 24-1, 8 fire personnel responding, traveled no miles and we were in service 4 minutes.

BRUSH FIRE – April 30th at 1133 E. Newport Road for mulch and brush on fire at PPL pole 41327/S30481 and Windstream 47655565 fire in the area of this pole.  Brunnerville Fire Co. and LCRPD assisted.  2 engines, 9 fire personnel, traveled 3 miles and we were in service 29 minutes.

ASSIST AMB. 24-1 WITH A CARDIAC ARREST – April 30th at 1497 Rothsville Road for a cardiac arrest.  Squad 24-1, 6 fire personnel, traveled 2 miles and we were in service 30 minutes.

The Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to 7 incidents for the month of April. Responding to those calls were 68 fire personnel, traveled 27.5 miles, and we were in service 4 hours and 50 minutes.  

The Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance responded to 111 calls, 217 personnel responding to the calls, traveled 1,258 miles and we were in service 100.7 hours.

Total calls for the Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company was 118 for the month of April.
